Leadership Retreat
This residential retreat is designed specifically around the needs of your Leadership Team. We'll usually start by looking at your mission and by interviewing each member of the team so that we obtain a good grasp of the politics, constraints and vision of success.

A retreat typically starts with your business plan, identifying opportunities and obstacles to achieving it. The team will work together to maximise the opportunities and minimise the obstacles, typically creating a high level one, three or five year plan. Year one of the plan is then worked up into more detail for implementation.

A first step is to identify what the team does well and what could be done differently so that performance can be improved.

Team members interview the sponsor, undertake real time research and generate insights. We then use team psychometrics to allow each team member to recognise the role that he or she prefers to play.

We then look at linking and pacing, in order to underline the fact that every team is made up of individuals, each of whom has different psychological preferences. It's not enough to understand your own and other team member's work and psychological preferences. You need to be able to connect up with them in collaborative and productive ways. The Team Breakthrough identifies the linkages that all team members need to make in order to optimise team performance.

We also look at your team’s attitude to trust, accountability, conflict, commitment and focus and highlight areas for improvement. We can help you understand if your team members tend to see obstacles whenever they take on a new challenge, or if they see opportunities instead.
